Alain Farhad

Alain Farhad is a full-time independent international arbitrator and one of the leading arbitration practitioners based in the Middle East. As one of the MENA region’s most in-demand international arbitrators, he has served as sole arbitrator, co-arbitrator, or presiding arbitrator in more than 100 arbitration proceedings involving several billion dollars in dispute.

After nearly two decades in private practice with leading international law firms in Paris and Dubai, Alain established Farhad Arbitration in March 2024 to dedicate his full professional time to independent arbitration work.

Alain has supported Ecsper from its earliest days, serving as the company’s first board advisor and providing invaluable guidance on arbitration standards, tribunal expectations, and the global regulatory landscape shaping expert evidence.
